Rotterdam

After having a great time in Belgium, I took a train to Rotterdam. Made a stop in Antwerpen to change trains and after an hour of travel I arrived to Rotterdam Centraal.
My friend Sjoerd was already waiting for me. It was a pleasure to finally meet him after almost three years of knowing each other from the internet, and even more to explore the city with him, as he was generous enough to host me for four days!
Even though Rotterdam was mostly destroyed during the World War II, the reconstruction and the modernization of the city makes it unique and full of surprises. And for those fans of modern architecture, Rotterdam is  completely a must visit.
What I loved more of Rotterdam is its perfection. The metro, the tram, cycling lanes, all the coffee bars!
I had the loveliest time in this city. I look forward to visit again soon.
