Stubenberg

After an hour and a half train ride from Vienna we arrived at Stubenberg. I spent Christmas Eve with David's family, who treated me amazing, and had a wonderful night full of wine and delicious food.

On December 26, we woke up very early to catch the sunrise at the Stubenbergsee, a 360 degree viewpoint, where you can see the different towns around. 

My days in this little town where magic. I learned a lot of Styrian traditions, and I will never forget how happy I was that morning watching the sun rising and listening to Glen Hansard.

Vienna

I had a wonderful time in Vienna with my friend David (who I met in Iceland in summer of 2015).  He picked me up at the metro station with a beer, smiling and saying 'Welcome to Austria'.

Vienna is a beautiful and I always imagined it as a perfect city, which it was. 

The Christmas Market was huge and beautiful. Schönbrunn let me without words. Visiting the Leopold Museum and see the biggest collection of Schiele was great. My week in Vienna was almost catching up with my friend while we smoked cigarettes and wandering in the city. 

I really look forward to come back to Vienna, because it's a beautiful and lovely city, full of history, culture, and cafés!
